    Hi I am looking for an affordable solution for accepting credit cards. I am a graphic designer and find a lot of my clients would like to pay with a credit card. I am looking for a service to do this with that will not kill me in monthly fees.

    Thanks for the reply. Most of my clients will not take to the time to set up a paypal account. Was hoping there is a solution ware the client could pay from some sort of merchant account from my was sites

    2checkout seems to be a great option for you. Check out their fees IMO they don't have very high fees.

    Thanks for all the reply. I went with Google check out and I have to say it is very easy to use. Its free until the end of the year and in 2008 you will get credits for what you spend in AdWords.

    You should be able to find a traditional merchant account without any excessive monthly fees. If you negotiate with a company so that you have no monthly-minimum, your cost per month will start at about $10, or ~$15 with a payment gateway.

    You can pay by Credit Card as well without signing up at PayPal.

    If not, 2CheckOut is best for you. Though, be aware that you may have to wait upto 4 days for a transaction to appear!

    Also, if you're thinking of using Google Checkout, its good and allowed only for users from US. You can buy from it but currently only US citizens are allowed to use it for selling.
