Hey people..im not a professional at doing designs...but m passionate about it.

I have a mobile related site and i wanted a banner for it. Well with my tiny little knowledge of Adobe i have designed a banner for my site.

Please review it and suggest the rectifications if ne needed to make it more cooler...same banner is gonna be used for advertising also...

    Banner: [IMG]
    Logo : [IMG]
Size : 134kb [is it big in size?!]

    Thanx.

    i like the banner.

    it's catchy.

the line thru the M & A in the logo, i'm not so sure about - for me anyway.

    good luck,

134kb is definately too big ...imagine that a slow loading page is considered to be > 60kb ...many people esp those on 56 modems would never see you banner load and the rest probably gone before it did.

I think a banner should be at most <edit>30k</edit>...try optimizing a bit more by using less colours in the pallet if it's a gif.

If I may, I think I am too late, but here's my two cents:

    1. Colors are kind of faded. No contrast scheme. Not very catchy, colors are cold.

    2. The logo, if that's the company logo, then ok, but looked to me first like some sort of "secred organization logo", you know, triangles, etc.

    3. Size is definitely a problem. A banner at this dimension should not exceed 15 kb.

    4. The font looks like a Halloween decoration, with the pointy serifs...

Did you do all the animation in Photoshop?

The colors look nice I think, the logo is professional.Like ccisystems said; the font reminds me of Halloween.

    Nice banner :)

Okay, I'm going to get bad rep for this, but I believe in been honest. I think both the banner and logo look unprofessional, if you want to portray the right image to people then I would always recommend employing a graphic designer to do the work professionally - for one the banner or logo is probably one of the first things they will see, and you want a banner and logo which is going to stand out, so that when people see the image they know who you are instantly.

Look at the logos that corporate companies use, nike, adidas, etc you don't need to have any text to describe the company, you know who they are straight away.

Neither the banner or logo portray a mobile phone website.

    My two pence worth.

I think you should take the onsite logo and use it for your banners etc. it looks much cooler.

the font in the flash in my op does not match the coolness affect of the banner, overall it looks great, I would use a diff font though..

    heres My Votes:

    1. Size - Abit to big, Lowering it down will make it easier to handle and more viewers.

2.Writting - the font is not very professional if you ask me.

    3. Colours - The logo should be the same as the banner colours also lighten up the Text.

4.Text Size - Resizing the text down abit will make it more readable.

    Thats All
hope it turns out how you want it.
