AdSense is nose diving

Has anyone else noticed their CPC and AdSense revenue severely down this past week? My logs indicate everything has remained consistent but my AdSense earnings are WAY down.

Adsense has been pretty consistent for me, too, the past two months.

It's normal that earnings change from time to time, no need to worry. You can see big variation even day after day, but to say that the bids really changed consistently, you have to look at least for month-to-month earnings. A drop for 1-2 days doesn't mean anything and it happens sometimes to everyone.

Totally agree to that. It is amazing how many people post the same thing over and over and over... Adsense isn't a static network, there are thousands of advertisers rotating in the pool so your earnings will always change.

+/- 50% from the average sometimes for 970 pages indexed. I guess that's normal.

What the heck is the forum for if we cannot ask any questions ? I enjoy reading everyones posts as time permits, if you don't like repeating questions or answers then why visit the forum or don't try raising children....... jeepers

My cpc and earnings have dropped a lot since the 1st of Sep and have been the same, very low even currently. But I believe once 'smart pricing' hits, it's lilke the sandbox, you may be in it for a year or forever. I am still waiting for yahoos official launch to do a switch over.

Yahoo should prove quite awesome for those who use the Overture bid tool to gauge estimates of CPC prices and which niches to choose.

    Well, you can only hope..

I have to agree with Tama. My average click-through rate and eCPM recently is markedly lower than it was for the previous 3 months. I've made no changes to any of my sites. The trend continues.

It started on september 26 and has continued to slide ever since while Page Impressions have remained steady.

Nope, my CPC has been average of late. But, from time-to-time, I find it crashes for a day or two, but eventually it recovers. The important thing, is to find out if it's something you did that made it dive. Look for stop words. Check a few dozen pages for an PSAs.
