    too much good bands to choose from..
    right now i like Death Cab for Cutie

    but im a big fan of Matchbook Romance. . its a shame they disbanded ><
    prior to them i thought the non mainstream MCR and FoB were pretty good . .

    No offense.. I cannot stand this band. Just out of curiosity what exactly is the draw? They seem to be playing on every late night show, talk show, media event, "American Idol" (which is where I first saw them)... I ended up changing the channel. My four year old even said, "dada, this music sounds terrible".

    Is it just me?

    You are not alone. I wouldn't say they are bad (normal radio pop music). However, they are all over. Radio, TV, ringtone, it is just freaking annoying.

    This is an old thread, but looks like I haven't replied to it yet, sooo... :D

    I like Tokio Hotel (I bet no one knows them), but there are many other bands that I like. I'm currently listening to the day after tomorrow soundrack. Weird I know! ;)
