domain.com and domain.com/index.php

    Is there a way using .htaccess to make domain.com/index.php being redirected to domain.com.
    I have tried using
    redirect 301 index.php http://www.domain.com/ but it just causes errors.

    Both versions are indexed by google, and it really bugs me.

    you must insert the code which is given on reply 2. this will help you to avoid from supp. results and duplicate content problems
