Hi all, I have come across the following codes while I am checking my backlinks: <a href="http://www.mysite.com" target="VU">My Site</a> Code (markup): I would like to know what is that target="VU" means... does it means nofollow?
The target attribute specifies which frame or window the link should be opened in, and its value does not effect search engines in any way.
the target="VU" means it is going to open the link in a frame called VU more info on the <a> tag: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_a.asp
google will follow that link. google follows href= tags in your link. i think google will ignore target tags in your urls
