Free Joomla templates

    Can anyone recommend some good free joomla templates?
    I've searched through Mambohut but they have 4.5.2.x templates only.
    BTW, can I use 4.5.2.x template for joomla?

    Im pretty sure you can. Joomla is close to 4.5.3 so I guess templates will work until version 4.6 comes out at least.

    You certainly can.I have quite a few templates downloaded for mambo 4.52 and they all work perfectly with Joomla.:)

    yes, you can use 4.5.2.x templates for joomla. It works fine.

    Joomla is a great CMS....I have been looking for a good template for weeks...I found some but they are not compatible with Firefox..
    There are a couple new template sites here .I hope they will help me out... If not I better develope my own templates ......

    PS: I need a layout for an online news site...

    Currently Mambo and Joomla share Extentions and Template formats.
    A good site is mamboteam.com which has already been mentioned, but you can find tons by simply searching free joomla templates in Google

    Can any one reccomend me a site where i can download a free web hosting theme joomla template? i also want to integrate a domain cheking box in there, do you know any template with hosting stuff in it? thanks
