    Hey Guys

Today, I've just posted on my blog a brand new ebook I've been preparing for the past two weeks. It's a case study meets new technique whereby I show you how I have managed to build a site from scratch to where it now gets 1,000 uniques a day from organic traffic only.

I was going to charge for this ebook but since I'm in a good mood, I've decided to give you it for... free!! Also, I haven't done the really annoying thing of squeezing your email out of you to get it... there is a direct link to the PDF on my server!!

To look at the book, just take a look at http://lazeetoolz.com/2007/06/13/social-bookmarking-heres-my-23-page-guide/

    Enjoy!

I think it means "Get the F$#% out"
it can be a bad thing or a good thing.
In this instance I'm pretty sure it was used as an expression of suprise.

    Example:

tom: "I just won the lottery!"
    nancy: "Get the F$#% out!!!!"
    tom: "no R'ly, I did!"
    nancy: "I love you"
tom: "give me some sugar baby"

OK, Well I guess it can be meant literally also.

    Example:

tom: "I just made a million $$$ with this new software"
    nancy: "Get the F#$% out!"
tom: "Na'Rly, I did and if you act now for a limited time for the low price......."
nancy: "Get the F#$% out now or I'll call the cops!"
    tom: "Ohh S#1t!!!"

peeg congrats on the # of visitors, however after reading these last two posts on the thread you might want to clarify the intent of your post...

Just be honest in here, it really works wonders :)

Wow thanks for all the responses guys!

Okay I admit it was me at WickedFire who got banned, but that forum is no way as good as this one.

The intent of my post is two pronged. Yes, I do want to raise awareness of my new software but I deliberately didn't collect your email in a squeeze page so that I did not sell you the software. I give a detailed and credible technique to you for free and so I just thought you might be interested in it since you read the book. Clicking the links at the bottom was totally up to you...

Secondly, I just wanted to give you guys some quality info about Social Bookmarking for free for a change. I was going to sell this book but refrained from doing so simply because of the dudes on WickedFire don't like paid books... but look what they've gone and done to me now.

Basically, I'm giving you information here. I'm giving it with no "strings" attached. But I do give you the option to indulge in my new software when it comes out.

I hope that answers your "quarms" about the book? Remember, it took me two weeks to get this done, so I want some sort of compensation in it since I didn't sell it.

Anyway, thanks for all your comments good or bad!

I think the problem here is that there wasn't really much new stuff in that ebook. While it did describe the basics of social stuff, it merely listed a list of websites (which you can find from DP) and in the end it looked like the secret was:
    - "I used my own tool and which you readers should buy for discounted price"

Basically if you'd tell more exactly what you did (instead of only describing what social web is and trying to sell me the ebook) your ebook could be valuable - but at the moment it's pretty much just an ad about your own product, and not perhaps so practical guide what was involved in reaching the numbers you mentioned.

    Hey Rich,

Just read your ebook and wanted to say that I liked it. There are a lot of experienced social bookmarketers here on DP, but I'm not one. I've seen the posts, "stumble me, I'll stumble you," "digg me, I'll digg you," etc. I've heard about of all this, but to be perfectly honest, I've been just too dang lazy to research what this is all about.

Your ebook gave me some insight and made me realize I need to research this more.

I think it's a good read for any social bookmarking noobs like me.

One last thing...I have read many many free ebooks and every single one tries to sell something from their free ebook. As a matter of fact, the gurus teach you to do this...offer a free ebook, then upsell from the free ebook. So I didn't find this rude...according to the gurus making money - you did the right thing. ;)

Lucky you decided to give it free, you would have been derided otherwise. Can you imagine starting a site and getting 500 or so visitors and then selling an ebook documenting how you did it? :D

    Thanks for all your comments!

For those who didn't like it - let me just reinforce that you don't have to click the links at the bottom of the document. It's all optional.

For those who liked it - thanks for your support!

Good for them! If he had admited upfront in the post that he was selling something he would be less of a spammer.

The idea of using an RSS feed to ensure that all new posts get spammed to the bookmarking sites was a good idea, though. I wonder how long it will be before they all put in place a way to block his program :)

    Thanks for the rep!

@jgalt02453 - I am not selling anything. That's why I didn't say that I was. I simply wanted to give you something in return for reading the report and visiting my site.

I've put my software in there, but there's a ton of other useful information which I feel you will benefit from immensley if you use my software or not.

    Anyway, thanks for the comments!

I agree with Game Producer. I have no problem with people advertising in informational products, even making all the links affiliate links. That obviously what you're supposed to do.

However, when someone writes an eBook and advertises it as "how I went from 0-600 uniques/day" you expect to see HOW he did that in the book. And what does the book turn out to be? Just a giant list of social bookmarking networks. And how did he do it? Using his software, of course!
