Do you track your ad revenue from Digital Point?

I am curious to see if anyone tracks their ad revenue from DP and how they are making out?

 

i averge about 3 cents a day from dp

 

I track through a separate channel...
From what I'm getting, I think I will be able to afford a cup of coffee in 6months time...

I do not track my revenues from digitalpoint but I would guess it would be very small!

 

I just signed up , and I intend to track via a channel. Problem is, I set up a channel for it at Google, but when I try to specify it on my DP options page, it chokes on the channel name format. I've played around with a variety of channel names, but I can't find one DP likes.

What's the key to that?

The key is to use exactly how Google Adsense provided you...

 

Google doesn't provide us with channel names, we name them ourselves. Am I being dense (that is to say, more dense than usual)?

 

I have bought a couple of cups of coffee.. Revenues are rising too.

Not bad considering noone else pays you to post.

 

I'm starting to get an almost noticeable income from DP. I could buy a cup of coffee each week but from which coffee shop I won't tell you.

 

More than usual? Hard to say Don't put in the channel name-- instead go to the screen where you create an ad. Make a new ad and select the DP channel you created. Then copy out the code that the admaker spits out. It should only be numbers.

 

...or just track by creating an URL channel for forums.digitalpoint.com, in which case you won't need to enter anything but your publisher ID here on DP

 

Thats actually a very good point and I dont know why I didnt think about that at the time!

 

Just over $1 purely through CPM, I've never seen a click yet

 

I just signed up - I intend to use a google channel, I named it digitalpoint funnily enough, so if I understand it correctly, I should be able to see the revenue by doing a channel report. I'll probably check it once a month or so. Not expecting much but as I always say if it's going up - it's going in the right direction.

We name our own channel but if you notice in your ad code, you will see numbers... something like google_ad_channel = "xxxxxxxxxx"

Use this number (the one in red) to put in your DP profile...

 

I get around $0.01 to $0.10 a day
