6 Clicks -- Only 0.18 $ ---what should i do now ?

I got 6 clicks and $ 0.18 for that clicks . I am worried what should i do now ?

That's pretty normal, although higher paying keywords do exist.

 

Yesterday:

1446 page views , 6 clicks , 0.17 $

Today (so far):

657 page views , 2 clicks , 1.26 $

The difference is the yesterday the clicks were on a computer games related site I own, today the clicks were on a web directory site.
Two different "niches", different ads, different prices.

My advice is... don't change your site by using special keywords just to get better ads, continue working and improving this one with quality information and optionally start a second site on another niche that may give you better ads.

 

btw mariush , your ctr is too low , you should consider re-placing your ads.

The page views are actually the total of about 5 or 6 sites, the CTR is about 0.40%. Even so, it's not much.

In the case of the 6 clicks paying so low on the games site , I believe it's not the placement guilty but the design of the pages which I'm not about to change. You can check the games site in my signature, that's the site I'm talking about. For this site, I'm hoping to replace the Google Ads completely with Text Link Ads, which would give me more than I make with Google Ads each month.

 

Whats a good CTR, I have about 1% - 5%, what is a "good" value.

 

Don't know , it depends your niche but i know that %0.4 is not a good value for any niche

 

Traffic, traffic, more traffic. Thats what you need.

It varies with Google, personally i think that looking over a longer period, ie a month will probably yield better results as you can gain an average of what is happening. The visitors and clicks fluctuates every day. I think getting bogged down to much on one day is not worth the hassle.

 

Good advice. I've got the other blog that pays as low as 0.01 per click though with good traffic. Almost abandoned it some time ago but finally sticked to the point where things turn up.

 

Get more visitors I suppose, and better your ctr.

 

Now suffering the same problem, I doubt I'm now being smartpriced, pay per click has a freefall since last week.

I think it was a bad day for th publishers as already we can see 2-3 threads running about smartpriced or what may we can call

 

Don't complain, I once had 9 clicks, $0.03. Adsense is random.

Figured it was time to add content.. lol

 

Not bad for me. Pretty much normal day. Everything depends on the niche and the amount of traffic you get to those niches
