at this point i think the only thing that will make YPn publishers happy is relevant ads.. or even semi-relevant ads

I would say 1 out of 10 times you will get an ad thats relevant to your sites content.

IF you're lucky.. it really depends on the subject of your site/pages.

I wouldn't count on that update as being anything big. But if I had my wish it would be for more relevant ads because then my click through and income would increase. But I'm not holding my breath.

This month I am making 1/6 of what I was making toward the end of last year...all I know is I am tired of their updating, I just want them to put the system back like it was. Everytime they change something it gets even more screwed up.

If this update doesn't fix things I'm dropping them for Ask.com's service.

I have already had ad targetting diabled so I'm expecting to be banned soon. I just would rather quit using them so I'm never banned and my account is intact and I never have to wait 3 months to get part of what they owe me.

That would be a serious cash flow disruption for me that I just dont need right now.

    Ask.com has a publisher service?

I think it's kind of strange for a Tuesday update, I thought they did them mostly on Fridays.

They are launching publicly for publishers early next month (June 11th) from what I was told.

But if you have the traffic and you want to get in where you fit in (in case they are delayed with the launch) you'll need to call them and make your case :)

There are already a DP member or 2 running them if I'm not mistaken.

Dude we're gonna make so much bank :D

They are blaming publishers for the non-relevant ads (low conversions) instead of fixing their "publisher" network.

Yeah they fixed me right out the door...with a pr4, 6 year old website with all organic search engine traffic.....

Stupid mustang ringtone ads on legitimate auto related pages..hell no those dont convert..

    back to google...

Wonder why yahoo and google both don't seem to care enough about their publishers???...It's all about the advertisers...but without us what do they have...just search results ads...

gotta love this fickle online money game...lol

ATLEAST GIVE US A SNAPSHOT of the CONVERSION RATIOS!!!...So we know that something is broken...
