is it worth submitting to paid directories since google said they are gonna start devaluing them? is that just abunch of bollucks?
Where did Google said that ? Matt Cutts blog says - no problem with directories. Even in my directory, many big SEO companies submit their project sites.
The Directory Market is very bouyant and vibrant and :- Quality Directories are affordable and represent good value for ROI
Thats something different.. Look here what matt Cutt said http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-to-report-paid-links/
no its not worth it, now move on and submit to those 8k QBC directories out there and see the outcome.
Yep, directory links (paid and free) are good. Paid directories have more budget to spend on promotion then free directories. So, paid directories are good to do submissions. I don't get you?? where to submit??
Paid directories are usually heavily promoted, so they could bring you better PR, SERP and direct traffic. But of course it depends on price you're willing to pay. Disadvantages of free directories usually are that they don't live long, links are deleted and they could list many spammy sites. In your link building I would leave open all options, including paid directories
I don't think it;s not worth it, even if I don't use such submissions. But it's just a matter of me not having the money. I agree that some of the paid directories are also hegely promoted and my site would benefit. But I just cannot afford this
