Guyz, do you have any experience with the following article submission services/softwares ?? http://www.articleannouncer.com/ http://www.articlesubmitterpro.com/ http://www.articlemarketer.com/ http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php or any other? I am really thinking of doing something of this (article submission) tedious task. Your views?
What is writing an article ? or how does it differ from writing a Press Release ? Ive tried a few of them press releases, even paid pro ones that were submitted through (PRweb), they did absolutely nothing for traffic increases, even when one was picked up by a couple news services.
I think article announcer is WAY over priced for what it is. I know isnare quite well as we have a partnership with them and I know it works. They will be the most worth your time on that list
Ok, if I submit one of my article via isnare, and then I do a unique phrase (from my article) search on Google after a month, how many results are expected to show Whats your experience yfs ?
The best Article Submitter is THE MANUAL WAY. Find some high traffic article portals and submit your work everyday or so. Article Announcer should be boycotted. It's far too expensive and in case you have not noticed it yet, Jason Potash the creator of Article Announcer has never even written an article in his whole life. What and act of bad faith to show people how to swim when you can't yourself! Damn, it's really a crazy world!
From last count the network was around 20 sites so those links are guaranteed. As far as the reach from there, it depends on the depth of those directories. I can only speak for Article Depot where it depends greatly on the quality of your article. With RSS feeds, our GetHTML feature, and Article Stream, some articles can get up to 100 links. That is probably well into the high end though. The average may be around 10 or so from us. We will have a unique tracking system in place in the next couple of months that should provide a clearer picture.
I'm looking into a submission source as well. I created an article on June 15, 2005 and submitted it to goarticles.com. I just did a search for the exact title in Google ("Website Design - Choosing Your Colors Wisely") and it came back with 148 results from 33 different sites. That is a good return for me. I just submitted an article to them again and then did one through the free submitter at articlemarketer.com with one word changed in the title. I'll let you know the results in a few weeks.
Webmistress, I just finished watching the Article Announcer demo video on his website. If I'm not mistaken, as he's demonstrating the results from Google, he mentions that he wrote the article a few weeks ago (the one he uses in his demo, something called "Internet Marketing Mistakes" or something). So was he lying?
Perhaps you should draw your own conclusions but remember one thing - there is something called Ghost Writers on the internet
Ok, I thought maybe you read it somewhere that he never wrote his own articles. Would be interesting to catch him on his own lie. Anyway, there's no way I would pay that much for that software...but that's because I'm a cheapscape.
See the link below for a list of top article submission sites. If you know of any sites not on the list please feel free to email me (details on the site.)
I agree that the manual way is the best way. It can take some time, but the rewards for doing the job right are plentiful. However, I have not tried any auto submit software for this particular task. If it is like the rest of the auto stuff over the past decade, how in touch the creator is with the industry will make a big difference.
I use Jason Potash's software and have gotten great results. The course that is included (and I do think it's a little high-priced) was interesting and I learned some stuff from it. Jason never says he has written articles or not written articles. The course is more about marketing your site by creating and submitting articles. He does talk a lot about how to get articles written for you.
I wrote an article about a month ago and submitted it to about 50 article directories, all by hand. Google now shows it on 159 different web sites. But the strange thing is that G does not show any of these links back to my site! Anyone know why? Thanks, Will
Google only shows backlinks whenever they update their "public" index. It will show on this next update but not all of them could show up. If you really want to see all or almost all your backlinks then do use the search operator link: in MSN
How can a guy who has never wirtten an article in his whole life counsel you on ways to promote articles. I agree that ezine announcer was a good software but my point of view is based on the "morality" of the person behind e.announcer and not the software itself.
i have used isnare several times and been very happy with the results ... beats submitting by hand! serge
