    There are many ways to get every paid script for free, Do you use it or not, can the owner of the script detect these script on running site.

    (there is one more thread about pirated SOFTWARES but this is script only thread) MYSELF DON'T USE

    Anyone who's too cheap to throw a few bucks to a developer for a script is a loser. I can understand some people not being able to afford big name software, but stealing scripts is just sad.

    never used and will never use illegal script...
    if I can't effort buying a script there are always free scripts that I can edit them a little and they'll look like the paid script..
    and sometimes I but low-cost scripts with reseller rights, then sell it for the price I buy them and I like have a script for free ;)

    I remember when I began to code back in '95-'98, mostly in Java at that time, my codes were used by others in no time. There is nothing you can do. I could pick a script, anyone, reverse engeenering it, put credentials for myself, even sometimes, change the code itself, compile it or whatever and guess what? It becomes unique...

    It is sad, but only a conscience will make somebody good or bad...

    I know lots of people who use an illegal version of vBulletin, is this what you are talking about? I know a huge forum that uses illegal vB actually.

    before i used illegal script but ,finally when i started using paid script my money started to flow.so now i never use illegal script,respect the developed of script you'll get respect back with huge success.

    the only time i will use an illegal script is to test it out and see how customizable it is so i can be 100% when i buy it.

    Name and shame them :D if they're 'huge' they should bloody well pay up!

    Even the vB crew are real people and we (especially webmasters!) should support them.

    i don't use illeagal scripts, i did not even know it was possible to get:p
    anyways, i guess if a script is good enough to use, the developer deserves not only the price but also donations to make a better one! which in turns helps your own purpose:)

    I can understand why people use pirated software but i see no point in using pirated scripts. First of all they are not that expensive and secondly your website will have no future on pirated script. As soon as it gets more popular you will get done.
