Do i get a free pixel? You need to make it look busy lol

    I like the directory look.

    -edit-

You should have done it vertical. Id rather be in webhosting than reference.

Their currency used to be squids till they found out that the plural needed no "s" and they didn't know which one to remove so they removed both.

    It wasn't that funny ...

Good luck withthe site. It looks very professional and clean..like something done by a large ad agency. I know when I build websites they always have that retro circa 1995-1997 look to them..yuck... One thing you need is some sort of story to get people to buy the squares. Something to pull at peoples heatstrings.

IamNed, I have avoided you because I have felt it a waste of time. Ive now decided against that idea.

You are a fucking idiot. :)

The site is nothing spectacular. It is a copy of the idea that made headlines.

Big deal it is a copy. That doesn't mean there isn't more money to be made with the concept. If you are too narrow minded to figure that out its your loss. You can watch us make money from the sidelines :).

    Yeah good plan IamaNad.

Keep on believing that. If it is true that I am on the sidelines then there is no place I would rather be because it feels very good over here. :D

You on the otherhand, are the waterboy. Now go get me towel.

No need to harp on the iamned, he has a valid point.

Although I don't agree.....he does have a point. Any idea no matter how original or unoriginal can be made into something big. Think about all those freesomething.com's and how good they are doing. Because of one site...freeipods.com

Do you see anyone disputing that he has a point?

Go back to post number 3. Now tell me, did I say it was a bad idea or that the site was bad or anything like that? no.

It wasnt until that little POS came along and and said

    "it wasnt funny... "

That I changed my tone. If it were someone else I wouldnt care, but this idiot has been getting on many peoples nerves.

Move on, nothing to see here.

LOL, cheers for turning the thread into an arguement about "IamNed"

so much for the launch party :D

So every single forum is a copy of an idea someone had to make a forum ?

there are differences between my version and the original, some of the copies out there are exactly that ..100% copies. I thought it was progress to add categories, amongst other things. Buying small squares of ad space is going to become a widespread, everyday occurence, which will in turn revive websites ability to charge for larger adverts.

lol the design is very similar but I like you're style SM. I mean that other guy has made $190,000 already so even if you could make $9,000 it's still a huge turnover per hour spent.

    Good luck :)

In 200 years time they may argue was it the American dude or the English fella that invented that squares advertising thing?

SM's design is much nicer. I just giggled because it came out so quick. I thought it would be a little longer before seeing other versions.

Yeah he is really annoying and people are going to start to run out of patience with his insults. Loud mouths are good for a forum though because they bring all the other members closer together and quite often the newer members who are "normal" can fit in a little easier. :)

This article has been brought to you by the forum psychology journal.
