I won't comment about the site. I think everyone knows how big or high great the site is.
But this comes as a shocking surprise to me. A not so plesant surprise, that is.
This site has so much potential and so much to offer, i never thought Asim would sell it. But now that he is selling it, i would just say, that the new owner will be very lucky to have it!. Already advertised and a very strong site. And moreover it's being sold for peanuts. 42K is nothing compared to the worth of the directory.

Why are the highest referrals coming from porn sites?

 

Internet is open for all, neither we can have any control over them nor we can know from where the site is getting links or referrals.

In fact I checked those sites to spot any back link if present there towards our sites but could not find anything there it seems some redirectors and nothing.

Anyways I just took snapshot for the month of June 2007 (1st June 2007 to 9th June 2007), and can say this month there is no hits from any kind of porn sites (except 1 or 2), have a look http://www.e-topic.com/stats/8.JPG

Yes this question always comes to me when I see such auctions. If a site makes you so much money, why sell it? I don't understand.

 

We are planning to move to the next level. We have huge plans for our upcoming project and we wouldn't be able to do justice to our project if we will stick with two big sites.
