$30 Web Header/Logo Contest - A Ton Of Templates [.] Com!

Hi all,

I'm sincerely hoping that you guys/girls can help me again

I need a Website Header and Logo for my new site, "A Ton Of Templates".

This site will sell thousands upon thousands of web templates, graphics, flash files, logos, fonts, wavs, banners, articles, ebooks and more.

I've entered several contests here before, and have always been impressed with the high standard of creativity and talent, which is why I'm back for this contest.

Obviously the theme of the Header Graphic should center around the huge amount of content that is available on the site, but I have no set rules over the colour scheme or size of the header...so be as creative as you wish!

Here's the bad bit. I only have $30 budget for this contest.

So, the winner will receive $30 + A Ton Of Templates (6Gb's worth in fact, of all the things I mentioned above. For example, there's around 12000 fonts! 25000 web templates, about 1Gb of banners, PSD's, logo's etc, plus everything else!)

This is a 48 hour contest, ending 7pm GMT Sunday 10th June.

As always, I look forward to seeing all your designs, I'll give honest and regular feedback, and reps to everyone who enters.

Perhaps the logo could change? I don't know, it's a bit abstract. Maybe something a little more obvious, like some scales with a 1 Ton weight on it?

I like the concept of the weight, it works well.

I like the Web2.0 style, but again, the concept doesn't shout out to me "Here's a ton of templates!"

Very elegant though.

I like the idea of using a ton weight on some scales, with maybe a crammed folder of files on the other side of the scales. If that makes any sense LOL

I've been offline for most of the weekend!

Because of this, I'm going to let the contest run for another 24 hours (from now)

In the meantime, thanks for your entries, and here's my latest feedback!

simplyg123 - I preferred your first entry (and so does my wife), so you're still in there!

Hecky - Thanks for your entry, rep added It's not complete enough as it stands, and I'm not loving the colors, but thanks for including the weight!

Solid_Nuts - Definite potential here! rep added. Like you say, it needs a slogan, if you could make one up (e.g. blah blah blah), and make the 'Ton' in better perspective, that would be great. Oh yeah, it's 'A' ton of templates, if that helps.

Hades That is where I wanted a ton picture! I'm not a fan of the font, though, and it needs to feel more like a header graphic. Thanks for your time so far, rep added!

Etherfast - Brilliant! Love the Elephant LOL, and the design. If you could give it a similar font/color scheme as solid_nuts and simplyg123, you could be the one!

LOL - Thanks, Etherfast, there's something about your elephant that I really like! I think it's the eyes!

I prefer the top graphic.

The colors are much better too.

Thanks, simplyg123 - I'm a big fan of the Web2.0 reflections, but I'm not sold on the logo yet. I really appreciate your efforts though, your entry has some great template pictures.

Sorry, I was trying to make a logo, not a header. Kind of 'missed' that part about the header thing. sorry. Which font do you not like? there are 3 different ones (at least i think, i don't remember exactly) do you want me to try and fix this? or should i start over?
