    I am trying to get a feel for what this domain would be worth to someone.

    The domain details:

    name: herpkingdom.com
    age: Approx. 5 years 4 months (Feb 2002)
    Current PR: PR4
    # of inlnks: 9737
    Registered at : GoDaddy

    This was my reptile community site named herpworld, but after a few years of negotiations, I was able to purchase the www.herpworld.com domain name. Now I have finally moved the site content over to the new domain and have no use for herpkingdom.com

    I am sure the domain would go up to PR6 quickly with a more SEO friendly design and content, which really wasn't the aim of the site at the time.

    I have been getting suggestions from several dozen people and sites that give an estimate in the area of several thousand dollars.

    I am seriously considering selling the domain, but want to gauge what some of you think a fair price would be for the buyer and what a good price would be for me as the seller.

    Right now all of the old site is still in place on herpkingdom.com. It is there as a backup for now and it going to be removed shortly to be replaced with a small reptile blog just to keep some traffic coming thru and with links to the new domain in the header area.

    Honestly the backlinks you have are mostly PR0 sites. This is a true PR4. THe value is mid to high $xx

    But who knows what others are willing to pay.
