Sitemeter has been banned by google?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Antonio, Jun 7, 2007.

I used sitemeter as my counter many years before, it worked fine for me before I use google analytics.

It seems there is no result for sitemeter in google now, link and site show 0.

I have seen it was 6 or 7 before, any one knows what's happened to sitemeter?

Hmm, I've never used it but it looks like its just a Google thing... Yahoo and MSN both show it.

Could just be Google trying out some new new algorithm change, how long ago did you last see it on Google?

So if I use sitemeter does that mean I need to get it off my site or get banned?

from memory the guidlines say that 3rd party tools that are considered spyware (which is the issue with sitemeter) will and can get a main site banned.

    It is a PR0.

Does this mean it is banned?

Are there any good paid stat counters that show a real time "whos on" like sitemeter?
