Why make a proxy?

Why do people make proxies and why can they gain traffic so quickly?

 

so kids at school can access myspace.

because a new proxy isn't blocked by the school yet (most likely)

Yes, people do make money with them. Proxy's are pretty much one of those"get rich quick things". People make $10+ per day in one week with proxies.

If you are stupid enough to submit your proxy to proxy.org, sure, you'll get some traffic and you'll probably lose your Adsense account.

 

not all traffic from proxy.org is bad, I have many sites listed there and still have an account.

 

proxy org did cause my traffic to increase when i first started in the proxy game but soon after lead to a google ban for me, not sure if it was related or just good timeing lol

 

Word of mouth. In my school, they are very strict about proxies. They block more and more proxies every few days. When a student discovers an unblocked proxy, he tells the whole room. Suddenly, 20 to 30 kids are on the same proxy. The next day, they continue to do the same, until eventually, it is blocked. That is why you create a Proxy Network. When 1 domain is blocked, you still have 6 more unblocked ones.

 

Proxy sites are the best way to earn more from Adsense.
And its very easy to maintain !
