    Did you recently purchase DMOZ and change the mission? Because its website says
    comprehensive

    Function: adjective
    1 : covering completely or broadly : INCLUSIVE <comprehensive examinations> <comprehensive insurance>

    And

    definitive

    Function:
    adjective

    1: serving to provide a final solution or to end a situation <a definitive victory>
    2: authoritative and apparently exhaustive <a definitive edition>

    There may be some great editors but clearly DMOZ has some issues.

    DMOZ is the largest and most comprehensive directory!!! duh? - you really still don't understand DMOZ.

    Are you also going to bag all the other directories that do not list all those myspace wallpaper sites? or are you just picking on DMOZ?

    By quoting me and editing that quote to say something I never said just made you take one of the biggest nose dives in credibility I have seen here at DP - who is corrupt when when they do that sort of thing?

    Most forums ban members for doing that.

    I just wanted a fair shake. If I knew whom they went to I would have gone to them instead of asking here. My competitors aren't spam they really deserve to be there, but they eventually paid.

    Yeah that's a lot of F'in Iced coffees. 3+ Years. In where our site deserves to be placed there is NO WAY unless paying.

    I didn't know I'd be banned or if that was possible, I DO know we had no other choice.

    Nothing to lose, 'iced coffee', it's the DMV of the web, ran by ex-Stalinist Soviet code of ethics, and a few true believers whom suggest ice coffee.

    "donttrustthisposter" many seos here say Dmoz is dead and/or doesn't have any special benefit with search engines. You should spend your money for something more productive than bribing an editor.

    I guess you really know nothing about me and my relationship with the ODP. I suggested ice coffee because you seem a little hot, and it will cool you down a bit. It was a joke, man, a joke - gezzus! :p

    Just admitted that DMOZ was created by KGB and is run by sleeper agents. ;)

    True and while these METAS untiringly finds and remove editors for having multiple accounts they also find it easy to SPAM other FORUMS. Another example of a COMPOSTANNIE "FRIEND turned FOE" when promoted to META is ;

    Shadow575 = copperdrum

    PooPooTalk, it would be nice if you actually tried to contact Vonda before making such broad insinuating statements! I don't appreciate that at all. None of my contact info has changed including the fact that a PM from this very forum would notify me. You have my chatroom address! You have my Email address! Please try them next time before making rash insinuations!

    I don't understand the logic or maybe the phrase?

    Lets say you want to get into DMOZ as the premise, Okay?

    Your category has 4 websites

    2 of these websites are not valid by DMOZ standards due to the URLS alone ie subdomains/deeplinks.

    OK? Are you with me so far?

    1 of the recent additions tells you ( after inquiry ) that they PAID, and it really wasn't that bad of a deal, but it's the ONLY way they could get in.

    We've been waiting 3+ years and yes have OFFERED every year to edit it ourselves.

    You really expected us to do what to get listed. What kind of F***** coffee are we talking about?

    Is it laced with crack or are you saying to buy a $300 coffee from a DMOZ editor for a free link?

    I believe you.

    I have an issue about your premise, which is the willingness to pay for a single link. How much PR does the page where you want the link to be, really has? Depending on your age you might have a little sister or a daughter with a myspace page with more PR. She'll give you a link for free, that could be just as good!
