Yes, I'll launch today a new wordpress blog and these blogs can be installed in subdomains or directories of my main blog. Subdomains need 72 hours to full propagation, directories can be created immediately and are better to get page rank from the main blog or site.

Is it possible install the blogs in subdomains or directories? Please clarify.

I haven't tried installing the blogs on subdomains. I am thinking to play with this sundomains thing but time is killing factor right now.
