Review of AdSense on My Blog

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by thebigbreak, Jun 5, 2007.

I didn't even realize that there was an area to request reviews until earlier today... so, I'd like to have others here offer their thoughts on AdSense usage on my blog at:

    http://www.ericlander.com/

Any insight, tips, etc. will not only be appreciated -- but tested as well.

    Thanks so much!

Your blog looks really good and kind of pro. It has that feeling of something serios and worth reading. The only thing that makes it nasty are the ads on the frontpage.
Remove all ads on the front page and only include a large rectangle in every post. Make the ad-unit apear only in the read more/full article apearence.
Place the large rectangle over the fold, floated left, with black text and url and with red titles.
This is the only good way to go with really good CTR and style.

Thanks for the input guys... as a result of trying to get things integrated well, the adsense took a back seat to my playing with the theme and getting the CSS nailed down.

I'm still working on it though, so i appreciate any feedback you've got for me!

blending is good but your ads are so small . you must use bigger ads to have better results
