Domain Transfer Question!?!?

Discussion in 'Site & Server Administration' started by MarcL, Jun 4, 2007.

I just transferred a domain from godaddy.com to 1and1.com and it said that it will take 60 days to complete the transfer. Is this true? 60 days is a really long time in the business world...
    Thanks
    Marc

    It says:
A 60 day waiting period is required between domain transfers.

Well if you transfered it just recently to Godaddy then ICANN states that you must wait 60 days to transfer it to another registrar.

    To OP :

    Why 1and1...may I ask?
You'd kick your own @$$ later for this move...remember my word!

BTW, the domain in your sig is a trademark infringement...hostgator might mind that ;)
If you had used something like my hostgator-review.org, it'd have not been as bad as hostgator2.com :p
