Yeah, FireFox Rocks!! Tabbed browsing and the dev toolbar do it for me :D I keep IE6 going for checking page design (blog usually Fs up in IE) and also because some ad agencies will only allow you to log-in to their online systems with IE... dont ya just hate that?

Its so annoying that some pages don't work in Firefox, although I agree with their idea of stricter standards as it will force everyone to produce cleaner code if they want to stay alive

yeah, my coding has always been atrocious, just because I'm lazy and I experiment too much for my own good with little regard to rules, but lately testing for compatibility has made my code SLIGHTLY cleaner, but that's not saying much. :D

I've used all kinds of browsers over the years. Started with NCSA Mosaic back in the day. Switched to Netscape when they stopped supporting Mosaic. I used Netscape as my main browser until I switched to Firefox 1.0 when it came out. It's the first browser that came out and was better then the latest Netscape. I've tried all of the others, Mozilla, Opra, and a lot more I can't even remember the name of, I guess that says it all.

Everyone I've shown firefox to has switched on the spot. I think that speaks for itself. I like that firefox forces me to write better code. The only part I don't like is once I get everything right in FF I still have to take a look at it in IE so I'll know how much more work I have to do. That SUCKS! I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you want to kill off IE just stop testing your sites with it, and stop writing code for it. If they can't follow the standard it should be their problem, not webmasters. I say Death to IE! If we all gang up on it we can take it out for good! :D

I think that there are more IE users in the forum than the stats show, they just don't want to admit that they are behind everyone else. DEATH TO IE!!!

Though I use firefox and IE, I still prefer IE. The reason I use both is because when I am browsing the net I use firefox because it is more secure than IE. I use IE for visiting trusted sites that I know that are not going to install any spyware or trojans.
