Why did i get this infraction?

I got an infraction for bumping a thread... it wasn't a real bump... i should have used the term "quoted for more attention"

it was posted on the same day as the thread...

 

You've answered your own question and bumping is against the rules.

 

it doesn't matter what you "say" a bump is a bump is a bump.... posting nothing of value to get the post to the top of the list again, or to get it more attention, is still bumping.

Well then i didn't break any rules.

1.) the thread wasn't mine
2.) It wasn't an OLD thread.

 

Well your post give your answer. Don't need to say anything. Bump is not allowed here.

 

Quit complaining - if you write "bump for more attention" it's quite obvious that you were trying to get it back to the top of the pile by bumping it. You can't possibly argue it wasn't a bump from your own words in that post.

 

Thats it you got it. Bumping is not allowed. For starting this thread you will probably get another one. You will get used to the rules soon.

I wasn't trying to get the thread to the top of the page.. i was trying to make sure that somebody didn't get scammed..

Come on Son, getting one infraction is not the end of world. You have nine more to go. ( You can bump your thread nine more times. Don't take it that way. One more bump can get you goodbye ticket from DP)

Still if you feel that your infraction was wrong, just ask Mods about it.
It is best to ask Crazy_Rob about it and he will explain you in one single line.
