Why I can't get CPM from my blog but from DP?

It's quite strange. Similar impression, but zero CPM from my Blog but greater than zero from this forum? Is that because of some special keywords or another matter?
    Thanks.

Digital Point has advertisers who specifically selected them for impression based advertising. You have to be selected by an advertiser to receive impression based ads.

What adsvertisers you mean? Are they G men, or just SEO team?

AdWords advertisers need to specifically pick your site as the site they want to do CPM with.

Its tough but really, its only fair for them to be allowed to choose where the ads are going to be shown. Its good for Digital Point users with Adsense Accounts, maybe even Adsense Advisor might get a few cents ;)

Yes but no. We can simply type a keyword as well and select all, without knowing which site we 'picked'.

But yeah, chances are a lot higher they picked DP than Joe Blog's.. err.. Blog.

Yerp thats right. Just enter your Channel ID if you want to track just DP's Forum Channel, or you could add a URL Channel for http://forums.digitalpoint.com

You mean add the URL channel into my AdSense account? I need to check if there's actually any "unknown" income suddenly appear in my AdSense account. LOL

Yep add it in the Channels section. It won't tell you straight away as it will take a few hours to update.

Ok, since all my websites are all properly tracked by channel, I just deduct my current channel's incomes and I noticed there were some extra few cents difference, definitely coming from DP!

Can someone advice me? My CTR is diluted heavily because the impressions created on this forum to my pub-id. Do you guys think I should disable my participation?

No reason in particular. But I want to preserve my CTR from my actual sites. It's a better way to track how am I doing with different ads design and placement. DP is a great place to hang out, no doubt about that, but I have no real control on the ads here.

If you want to track ads design and stuff why don't you do that, and after the tests, put your Id back on DP! :)

You just add a custom channel for DP and your site, that will work.

    my44,
Impressions depends on your participation in DP. Re-read the revenue sharing FAQ. Based on your 140post, I don't think your CTR is being diluted by participating in DP. Create a separate channel for DP and you can track all your Adsense stats accurately.

For the past two days, I got 400+ impressions from DP (hey, this forum is the bomb anyway!). But my normal impressions without DP is about 800+ only. So 400+ extra impressions were added recently, which, in simple math, dilutes my CTR by half.

Hope you guys get the idea. I'm not one of those Dr-AdSense, PhD who gets 50K impressions per day.

    :)
