I submitted my sitemap 2-3 weeks ago to google and after 1 week alexa dropped me to unknown and my keywords to google went to NA

MSN seems to have me on 4-5 rank

    what's happened?

    thanks

I don't know what happened, maybe you were banned from the index (is your site still listed?) but submitting your Sitemap has nothing to do with Alexa dropping you or your keywords not showing up in Google's SERPs.

I seriously doubt they banned you for having a sitemap... Unless you listed something in your sitemap that was a major problem.

Just having a sitemap is not likely to get you banned.

I have a site that dropped out of google recently too... And it has a sitemap, but I have 20 other sites with sitemaps that didn't drop, so again, I don't think there is a connection.

You probably need to consider other reasons.

Actualy, I am having the same problem.

My website is only a few months old. It has 6000 Pages.

Google was spidering me fine. But when I submitted a google sitemap, spidering has stopped.

G now only spiders my index.php file :(

hope there are no dupe contents. Just do a search of the contents.

If your contents are original, someone else might have duped!

It could have to do with the settings in the sitemaps file submitted to Google. Have you checked your settings for the 'lastmod', 'changefreq', and 'priority' attributes?
