I just wanted to bring to your notice that, members are hiring people to increase the no. of posts.I wonder if this is good for the healthy activities of this forum

Wow, that's weird. Don't think there is actually anything that can be done about it though.

I wander if this is against TOS? Because if it's not its probably not a bad investment because you could rent your signature links lol. Too bad if your already a member cos your only allowed to login your own account and the Mods could think your doing something else like having two accounts, or scamming that account, etc.

 

Exactly that is what I am saying. when a person hires someone, they definately are not the original posts and the main purpose of this forum might be defeated.I would say these activities shouldn't be allowed.

selling signatures is..well business..but only if your posts are in 1K multiples lol..

for 2000 posts all you get here per mo is 20$ max!...lol
where as if someone would signup for a posting job at a forum site or elsewhere..for 2000 posts he could make 200 $ @ .10 cents per posts!

 

Get 2000 posts for $30-$100... then sell signatures and recover the money in single month.

A good business idea but bad for DP..as post quality goes down.

 

well that person is taking a risk, and thats upto him, there is chance user might get banned, he will loose all money of paid posting. this should not be encouraged, but people will learn from experience.

 

Yes, hopefully the posts of these posters are of VERY low quality so they can get banned for spam

Think about it 2000 posts @ $0.10 = $200. Say that you get $20 per signature thats four signatures so $80 and then you also have your location, recent blog and avatar which you could get $40 for. That's $120 a month so in the second month you have already made $240 and not taking into consideration the months before you reached 2000 posts .

 

Yaa they can, they can disable all signatures, or disallow signature rules, but in those cases dp looses its visitors . So , does dp want to do it ? thats the tricky question.

 

I would say don't worry.

Dp is not like other forum. We have nice mod and members who really love this forum.

whenever there are low quality post, someone will report it and mod will kill them in no time

but yeah, ppl would realise something was wrong if someone registered on june 1st 2007 and suddenly had 2k posts by the 3rd.

 

But obviously they wouldn't be able to make 2k posts in three days its like literally impossible.
