Do you have unique articles about body building in your site? If yes, I would social bookmark each of them for a good initial flow of traffic!
erniec - i have not got any as of yet i dont know where to go find the good ones! 8everything - yeah ill digg my articles good idea!
Yes, if you digg it yourself: remember. DO NOT digg all of your articles all at once because you can get banned. Instead, digg one or two articles per day. It'll also evenly distribute your traffic flow.
I would do something similar to what the guy over at Musclyjerk.com did. Seemed to be VERY profitable for him - listen to radio show for the details. If you have some time listen to the last 15 minutes of this Rush Hour podcast show http://media.webmasterradio.fm/episodes/audio/2007/RUSH031407.mp3 Purplepeeps
im downloading it purplepeeps anyone else got any ideas?? iv now got a copy of SEO elite but i think it was a bad buy i dont see anything amazing that it can do for me??
i listened to radioshow dude i learnt nothing lol! yeah im working on backlinks right now and doing some digging on my articles
Squidoo is a good place to get backlinks. Check out www.squidoo.com/musclefitness for an idea of what you can do.
Try and promote it on forums, like use it in your signature etc. Also, get some links from blogs which are related to your niche. It will be a good idea if you also participate on forums related to bodybuilding / health etc.
Make your promoting strategy as "natural" and "live" as possible - contact blogs in your niche, be friendly and responsive. Involve actively in bodybuilding, health, beauty *no, it's not too far from your field* forums - work on your reputation there and what is crucial - build a not too promoting face but the "face" of "someone like me". According to recent research such a strategy is a winning one at the moment. Good luck
yeah good suggestions guys, iv put my links in all my signatures im known as a nice guy on a few bodybuilding forums always posting here and there! and no spamming ofcourse developing a + rep... would paid advertising be a decent idea or not? like give with one hand and take with the other? with adsense and adwords
I'm sorry Untouchable 90...did you not go check out what that guy did? The radio show just had an example at the end of a case study. I apologize I thought it would help get your creative juices flowing and help you think outside the box. Basically the guy referenced in the radio show did a quick video of ladies talking about how they liked guys with big muscles, put it up on YouTube and got a ton-o-traffic to his site -- the traffic converted considerably well and the dude made a killing from a $600 investment. I watched the video, it wasn't all that great, but it was effective. Like million+ $ effective. Do a search on YouTube for musclyjerk - I would copy that same idea, but do it a little better and then apply it to your situation. Again, sorry you didn't get much from that radio show.
oh i must have missed that part when trying to skip adverts or something! thanks purplepeeps! good idea! no need to be sorry it's a great idea thanks again!! rep +
