    :eek: Ok so I just realized that you can rate your own thread. I wondered how many people knew about this. I guess I'm still learning new things about DP every day. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I just rated my own thread in the link sales.:eek:

    Would anyone else like to confess to voting on your own thread?

    :p yes I did, however for people who always rate their threads 5, it may backfire when someone rates it a one :p

    Watch the buy, sell, trade area. All too many post their thread and then rate it. :) You will see five star ratings on threads with no responses. It has to be a long important thread for the rating to mean anything other than self promotion.

    you can rate your thread, this sure helps in the buy/sell section!! i knew it a long time back, when i was reading the faq or something!:)

    I knew and I've done it but I'm egotistical enough to think that because I don't pay attention to it - no one else will LOL

    I seriously never consider the rating of a thread when deciding if I should look at it or not. ;)

    I don't think a thread's importance is analyzed with the rating on left but on the content and response from other members :)

    I didnt know it when I joined DP, but them someone rated my thread a 5. Then i came to know that I can also rate my own thread :D

    Only people rate it if you ask for, OR if they dont like the service or you! :D:D:D
