It seems to be filling up nicely, he's earned $28K by now. I don't doubt for a moment he'll reach his goal and will be set for life. Or not, as easy come can mean easy go; but that's up to him.

He certainly deserves his success due to the qualities NetMidWest enumerated, above. I'm just waiting for when he gets his first "big" order, say, a Microsoft or Google logo that covers a fifth of the page

By the way, the blog is pretty interesting reading, latest update was yesterday.

He could also do some pixel lottery. People would click like gracy if you hide some pixels with a money prize somewhere in between. Make two option the one as it is and another one where people pay to click and where they can win a price.

Getting some good traffic

 

Can we get an update tht. how much traffic are you getting from it.

 

I have 2 sites listed - Stats since my post yesterday:

SIte 1: 53 uniques which is a lot for this new site
Site 2: unknown at present

The way i look at it, where else can you get a link for that length of time, for that much with that much publicity?

 

hxxp://www.engineseeker.com/ bought an 8x8, I am suprised that he has not sold a bigger spot to a bigger site, especially being a college student... at least as some altruistic gesture.
The million penny page flat states 'Make me $10,000 richer'. And I doubt he's getting as much publicity or traffic.

i think its pretty messy already, a page full of links to crap sites...
after being the million dollar page..it could be renamed to 'worst ever page'

although that said... full creds to the guy for the idea.

Do you guys think that buying pixels would get you traffic? I am not sure about that! Unless it is really a very big ad... Maybe it is useful as a backlink only...
