i seen a bundle of sites that misuse their ads block. u know, those sites hosting photoshop tutorials, they always had a picture right next to the ad block. a search on google and u will know wat i mean. i leave them alone since they provide free tutorials. what would u do, and what if they are your competitors?
Same here. I have better, more productive things to do with my time then worry about how other people are implementing Adsense incorrectly or against TOS.
I don't report these sites either (unless it's severe like hate content, etc) but for placement.. they'll eventually get caught.
having blown my share of cash on Adwords I dont think people should be ripping-off the advertisers. because of that i have reported a few sites that blatantly ask visitors to click their ads. Otherwise, i dont bother.
It's your problem, too, if it affects the overall performance of the network. I don't report little things or things where TOS/Policies is vague, but I WILL report the blatant violations. Asking people to click, &c.
I only report sites that are CLEARLY abusing Adsense (Click Here, Help Support Our Site, No Content...) If someone has a minor offense like images next to ads, I always e-mail them and let them know. If they choose not to change it after I e-mailed, Google will most likely catch it when they review the site then the guilt will do its job.
After filling the google form and clicking "send" or "ok" (or whatever), the connexion cut, and I didn't bother again...
I used to...but don't do now. WHY? because Google never did anything about the violations I reported.
Truth be told, I won't gain anything but a potential enemy for the report. AdSense doesn't give bounties, so why would I? If it was a click and report kind of thing, I would, but otherwise, it's too much bother.
Dum-dee-dum-dee-dooo, walking down the sidewalk, minding my own business. Whoa, that guy just ran a red light. Should I call him in, naw, who cares. (yeah, probably my reaction, too lol) Few minutes later. hum-deee-hum-deee-humm (doing a different tune now) Wow, that guy just robbed a bank! Well, the city has a lot of money to pay the cops, let them figure it out, they can get his license plate just as easy as I could call it in.
