On what basis could you value this site at $10K?

The domain is parked. No existing content, search rankings, pagerank, or links. The domain contains a trademark in the name that you don't own. Traffic by your own estimations doesn't even look hopeful to bring in 10 visitors a day.

Unless you are getting LOADS of type-in traffic I agree with Nevet, you really need to learn more about the domain business, Intek. Don't want to burst your bubble, but asking for "reasonable" offers for this kind of domain is something that isn't going to happen.

If I were you, I'd offer it to the appraiser at the absolute bargain price of $5,000. That way, you'll both be getting a great deal. ;)

wow, you guys are very fast to jump on people here.

I did not value it, This was appraised by a professional company. I have the certificate to prove this.

Really? goes to show your knowledge of the domain industry. Paylater.com sold for over $50,000. I have bought many domain names and sold them. I was simply asking if anyone would be interested here.

I have used this forum for a few weeks now and i have come to notice that there are no professional people here, some of the people that have posted in this topic i have seen post around the forums just bashing others,I'm assuming %90 of you are under 18 and do nothing all day but trash other peoples threads. I don't see any constructive posts or individuals here. Just a bunch of arrogant kids or immature adults. This will be my last post here.

    Regards

What possible good is a certificate? Will that company buy it at that price? I don't understand what a certificate has to do with it (These are domains, not diamonds)

The best comment so far was

That alone severely affects the value.

    with
    at the bottom
Looks as though one site has this in the footer

Of course neten.com doesn't even exist anymore so all of those pages will be dropped

Personally, I love it when people are trying to sell a $10 thing for hundreds or thousands of dollars and people point out the problems with it. Why buy somewhere where the "professionals" will let a newbie just drop $10K on a domain without even thinking twice.

If you are basing your valuation on a "professional appraisal", more than likely there are listed reasons for the valuation. If you don't know enough to get the reasons, and you don't know enough to spell those reasons out to potential buyers then what are you doing even trying to sell a domain?

My post wasn't antagonistic at all. I left a great big gaping hole for you to say - "these other reasons that you haven't thought of make the domain valuable". And it would have been a learning experience for everyone and you maybe would have picked up a bite.

But instead, you trash the forum and end up with a big red box by your name. Seems like the behavior of a guy who's not selling anything of quality - who's more interested in taking advantage of a sucker or a newbie.

I'm no professional. But I can certainly tell when somebody is pissing on my boots and telling me it's raining.

Intek, this isn't Ebay, and you sure aren't impressing newbies around here. We know about this stuff, some of us have been in the domain business for a long time and know that your domain is junk and has a huge trademark issue that could bring problems.

And using a "professional appraisal" to justify your price just shows that you have no clue about domains.

The main problem (as people mentioned previously) is that AdSense is a registered trademark of Google. Under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy of ICANN, all Google has to do to take that domain is file a few papers.

Which as you can see here, Google has done (hundreds of times) to get domains that infringed on their trademarks, misspellings, etc.

The exception to this would be if you registered the domain BEFORE Google filed for the trademark (which was October 13, 2003). Then it would be more difficult for Google to take the domain.

And just to make it even more clear, here is a quote from AdsenseAdvisor:

I have a weird feeling that you never contacted Google about the domain... right?

How much did you pay for the appraisal? Did they put lot of though in or just print you off one of their 10k certificates.

Here are some more 10k domains you could snap up whilst no one else want them:

    netadsense.com
    ppcadsense.com
    youvebeenhadsense.com
