You could sell a site that makes $100/day for about 25k-30k if it has been consistent for at least a year. Assuming most of it was profit with very little overhead.

Less than 10 months worth of net earnings? I would say more in the 40k range.

The key is not the price, but finding a buyer with that kind of cash.

most sites sell for between 6 -12 months of profit..
so if you had a site making 3k a month and expenses say of 500.00 then your site would be worth 2500.00 x 12 months = 30k

most people want pay more than 12 months for a site unless it has been consistently earning that amount of revenue for years. But 6-12 months of net profit is the going rate.

A site at 100.00 a day is worth 36'000.00 maximum, and then again its all about the buyer, and how hands free the site is. A site requiring only an hour or so a work a day is worth a lot more thn a site requiring 5-10 hours of work a day.

I have a cool product here to but now am wondering whether i should post it here. But i think programming etc. takes some time so it should take more than 3 months for the clones to come.

If it's making $100 consistently, I'd keep it.

Well really you want to figure out how much it makes per month, which would obviously be about $3,000.

Multiply that by 10...you could get $30,000 easily.

I think the value seems to be 10 month of (net) revenue..
    So in your case $100 x 30 x 10 = $30000 , certainly not more than 50k..

Of course like a couple said... it depends of stability of income, how much work (if you need to work full time or much less)...

    Just my 2 cents..

It's worth what you can get for it. Some people could sell it for more based on their sales pitch and quality repuation.....some people could sell it for less.

Lets face it - $100 a day is not much - thats only 3k a month - I want a site to make at least 1k a month to make it worth anything and thats with spending much time on it. If it makes $100 a day for a year and thats all it makes - then i think site value is around $30,000 - and thats if the domain is hot. My next question for those people that are valuing it at 80k+ . How much would one of my sites be worth then that nets 10k a month with alot of potential for growth?

Assuming that we are talking about a legitimate website making $100 per day that will be sustainable and possibly grown once the new owner takes over, your valuation of $36,000 is quite low.

A general rule of thumb for a healthy, viable business being sold is to fetch 3 to 7 times earnings.
