HI i have to ask this, have anyone use the godaddy reseller plan ?? because i want to buy this plans. i have three options Basic Reseller Plan Just $99.00/year Pro Reseller Plan Just $199.00/year Super Reseller Plan Just $229.00/year But i need to know if anyone uses it and if it goes well , and tell the good things and bad thing of the programs. You can use a coupon to get it cheaper, but I don't reccommend getting into a Godaddy reseller business, it's way too saturated and you'll most likely not make your $100 back. If you think about it to compete with the major domain companies you may make 50c a domain thats 200 domains to split even.
Yeah, I agree with Brennan GoDaddy has the worst domain reseller plan. Does it make any sense that they compete directly with you? No
Exactly they directly compete with you, and people will choose them over you because they have a better reputation even though your site is using there services, if they sell there site then potential clients would rather buy a domain thats located at godaddy.com than bobjohnnsdomains.com and the domains are probably cheaper at GoDaddy when you use a coupon than registering them through your reseller plan. Personally I'd avoid it, maybe even try find some reseller hosting on WHT and sell some web hosting, even though that's saturated you have a lot more control of things and nowadays everything it saturated so it's hard as to find something that can make you a few dollars that isn't saturated. If you want to go ahead with this you can find a Godaddy super reseller and they can sell them cheaper to you, I've seen the basic one as low as $60!
