    Ha ha ha! You would be about my brother's age then I suspect. He got the first computer and it was a Commodore.

    I got to chuckling about the colored monitor deal. Back then it was a bear to find colored ones. ;)

    Man, I thought I got the rawl end of the stick until I tried to work on his nachine once. That ended that lol. I was very happy to take what I had and run with it! :D

    My first was a Commodore Vic 20. It sucked but I worked my hump off to earn $99 to buy it from Ames. I loved it at the time, I got hooked on Bulletin Boards and the numbers were all long distance so I ran the phone bill way up and got my rear blistered. LOL It also had a voice synthesizer that you had to type in sounds to make words like short vowel sounds.

    My first computer was a Dell laptop which is still with me as it is unusable now :D I was messing with its BIOS and it really got messed up. :(

    Yep the SX Was something huge for me, very fast at the time, 256 colors and i remember i wasted a lot of time playing doom 3D, (which is still a good game untill now)

    That computer that you just posted is history men, as ugly as it may seem now it was like something comin from the future in the 80's :D

    Ya I am old....

    Then a C64, then the tape drive, printer, then a few months later a floppy drive!!! Boy I had everything until a friend got an Amiga.!
