we updated directory, setting it more SEO and SEF.
We need more advices on how to increase web incomming flux and our impact.
Also, take a look to the website design.

Hello.

Your directory is pretty good, but I have some suggestions:

1. Use one kind of font, not more than one (you may change the size)

2. Your keywords are pretty bad -
Real Open Free Directory, free links, submit link....
It will be very hard to get traffic from them...

3. No keywords on top of your page (do you know that the first 50 characters of your page must contain your keywords?)

4. You can put your keywords as "ALT" texts

Th layout is nice , also the logo is nice , simple but representative. The categories are easy to use , but maybe the subcategories would use a bigger size of the font.

The color scheme is allright , allthough you are using a bit too many colors ( the banners , ads etc.. ).

Maybe you could try to enlarge the footer a bit.

I don`t understand why is the favicon a ..moon ?

 

Nice design and layout. As already mentioned above, you should take care of the fonts and their sizes you use on the site. The home page has a different font, while category level pages have a different font.

Another suggestion will be to reduce the size of the top logo. It is taking and using a lot of space and has blank spcae around it. Maybe a good idea will be to shift it to the left and use the top navigation in front of it. You can reduce much of the scrolling by changing this.

 

Nice design, but I would make fonts little more darkly.

 

You need to sort out the css on the submit page, on mouse over it underlines in IE6. other then it looks good!

 

Nice design there. Looks balanced. And I agree with one of the poster above that make the font darker. The font should easily readable which isn't in your case.

Your layout is... from free templates. My suggestion is: Make uniq design, your directoeies looks like .. many other directories.

Bsklep: Developing a new template from scratch could cost me about... 14 hour of work Getting new logo, image, style and coding changes. But for now, it does not worth. I'm enjoying the template provided from emilie.com courtesy of inetzeal.com. And it's one of the best
But you have your point, having a branded one it's one of my 'to do' task. The developing of new features i do in my free time, so it's a bit slower...

And, yes according css file location /templates/RedFusion/style/main.css the template used it's RedFusion.
I did not bothered to change the folder name.
it's free, supported, and i enjoy it, until i have time to complete the new template, personalized.

You say that my directory's like many others. True. But much many other have a weaker template.
And btw, some customization already made on my own.. Worth to see the basic RedFusion, still.
Free... but not complete. so i do complete it. By adding some areas, pages, etc.

The current theme is also good though it needs small changes

i would also agree to make the font darker, as the red in the upper part of the page dominates the eye. it is however very clean. it must of taken a lot of time and money to get that guy up.
