what would you do to try to generate long term income or short term?

Pretty vague question, but I'd say buy a 6-month CD or possibly a reverse convertible.

 

50$, nothing much you can do with it.

Stock up enough food to last you wokring on your site might be the best idea.

else buy a good link.

 

50$ spen on 1 article with 2 link in it and distribuited to some of the best article sites

Or buy 1-2 good links in some HIG directorys

 

Buy 7 good niche domain names, put wordpress on them and start adding your own content daily. monetize the sites and soon the $50 will be well spent!

 

7 good niches???? if i might ask
and yes blogging can be beneficial but you have to make it regular and updated and it will start pouring in the revenue after some time... in the long run investing into blogs is really a good idea i suppose!

$50 into first a domain, some hosting, then spend the rest on adword coupons, ie $30 for $200 coupon, reg to click bank, design a site and sell the book

Heres what I would do with $50....

Buy a domain name and private registration for about $15.00
Then buy hosting...for about $7.00/Month

So now you have spent $22.00

With the remaining $28.00 do the following:

Figure out a niche, flyfishing, bowling, skiing, internet marketing, building fences, school, college, etc.. don't matter

Get a wordpress blog and start writing about three articles for it per day...

Write 5 articles, one every day to submit to article directories around the internet, don't spend any money on article submitters , you can take the time and submit them yourselves.

At this point you should be getting around 10-15 views per day from the articles and from your content and you still have your $28.00

Go to: www.new-list.com and find at least 100 ezines in your target market, and write up a ncie Joint Venture Proposal for your blog and niche.

Contact them personally, all of them, at least 1 or 2 will reply back with an ok, lets do it.

Still have $28.00

Set up the Joint venture and also place an Opt-ed In form on your blog...

LAUNCH!!!!

Lets say both JVs have 3,000 person distibutions...

You now have 200 people in a list.

Introduce yourself to your list by writing a 5 page auto biography of why they should read all your emails, what you hve to offer, upcoming products, etc...

Then write a short report about 30 pages long full of valuable material for this niche on something about it....

Then blast the 200 people with the link to the sales page... Sell it for $27.00

Out of the 200 people, if you did it right you should get about 5-10 sales.

So anywheres between $100-$200.

So now you have $228.00

Take that money and run a press release for your site, and also build more content, run more JVs, and add more value...

Is there seriously nothing you can do with $50? What if you got an ad-free free hosting site like 5gbfree and created an attractive site that has affiliate links to something that a lot of people buy...then use the $50 for a little bit of PPC? I'd think that using the $50 for advertising while doing some other types of free advertising like article marketing would get ya somewhere.

 

I'll try and buy a small niche site which has some unique content in it. Then work on it and promote and market it and earn $$ from it.

My site started from $50, and now earns over $2200 a month, in affiliate sales.

 

Getting a blog and adding original content is a good idea. When it gets PR you can sell links and blog posts.
