No Email Notifications.

Well its been 1-2 days now im not getting any emails on the new pms/latest posts in subscribed threads..etc

Is there an issue with this system?
Ive asked around 3 other people are facing the same problem..

 

hmm i have been watching my server for a while too, no emails from dp show up in the queue


and i cant change my email, as if i do that ill be put on hold untill shawn approves

 

Well, it seems to be working fine for me. Like "Smyrl" said please check your spam box.

 

Yea i did that plus monitored my server for an hour or so while i got pms/new posts...no emails came in what so ever... =/

and once again im not changing my email < that will just get me a temporary ban (untill shawn approves)

 

Everything seems to be working fine here as well. Have you checked your Edit Options page? Make sure that "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages" is ticked.

Thing is my server forwards to my gmail account, and so far im getting emails from everywhere but dp..

 

Just sent you an Email via DP. If you receive it then there shouldn't be a problem with DP's server.

Not sure about that but everything is working fine here. Maybe some emails are being blocked by DP's server.

 

What email service are you using...

I am using gmail...

 

I'm using GMail too. And i'm receiving emails about PM notification from DP. I have disabled email for subscribed threads.

 

Nop- it's working properly I am getting each and every PM notification in my mail box., may be there is some problem with your e-mail id ....coz. for the last two days the yahoo server was not working properly and I am not sure if you are using an e-mail from yahoo ....if so then certainly there was a problem but now it's fixed...

I am also facing similar problem here..I just log in after around two weeks and I got two PMs in my inbox for which I got no email notification. The latest PM was sent to me on May 11th 2007. I am using hotmail and I have already checked my spam box as well, no notification. I think there is some error.

yep..but I just got a PM from one of my buddy and I got an email notification for that I think mine is already rectified lol

 

Well I have no problem with PM notifaication from DP on my gmail account.

 

I'm having the same problem too. I had read this thread earlier, but I didn't give notice to it. However, I received around 4 - 5 PMs today and when I came home and checked my Outlook, there was none in my inbox.

Although I take regular backups of my PMs from my DP PM page, I want to receive them on my email also. I'm receiving newsletters and emails from other people on the same email ID, so there is nothing wrong with my email or mail server.

 

Ditto. I don't seem to be getting any email notifications at all from DP, although it's worked fine previously. I'm not using gmail, yahoo, hotmail, or anything other free email service and nothing is being filtered or diverted to spam.

On another note, why is Gnet's member name in pink?
