Good catch, lets see how long it says up. It'd be funny if the drudgereport got ban from google. Also on the home page they have
. Though adsense nor YPN network is shown here, I'd really hate to be an advertiser on the drudgereport (though I wouldn't mind the pr 7 text link).

    Hmmm.

I see the "Visit our advertisers" line.

BUT I DONT SEE ANY GOOGLE ADS ON DRUDGEREPORT.COM. Yes there are tribalfusion ads there.

    The ads are on drudgereportarchieves.com.

    Very Interesting.

They may be sites by the same person. But "click our ads " on 1 site cannot lead to TOS violation for the other, unless Google finds both on them related.

Definitely its unethical but how will Google overcome such cases. I mean someone make 2 sites... hosted differently and in different names. One site has "click our ads " all over, but very few or no ads actually. First site linking to second site. Second site has all the ads. Many people would actually click on the ads on the second site.

Here both the domains actually have similar name drudgereport.com and drudgereportarchieves.com and similar look too.

The point is these two sites may belong to same person , but what if Google cannot ascertain it?

I'm not seeing both Yahoo and Google ads on the same page as one another. Is it against the TOS to just have them both on the same domain?

As I understand it the Drudge Report gets buttloads of numbers, and as we all know, Google is very "bendable" when it comes to sites that makes them a lot of money.

They are a premium publisher so don't waste your time reporting them. Its a major site so its valid for discussion but you can't apply the same rules to a site like that.

Once you start bringing in millions of visitors a day the rules change

It's for sure against the TOS of Google and perhaps Yahoos' too.

No, Drudge is not a premium publisher, so they adhere to the same terms/policies as the rest of us. I can't see Google and/or YPN allowing this to be done, no one has been given permission to do this AFAIK.

Well, I'm sure Google will contact them at some point, or change the TOS. But either way, I doubt they will just turn the Adsense ads into a white banner without warning, just because someone's "ratted".

    Here is an example page:
    http://www.drudgereportarchives.com/dsp/search.htm?searchFor=texas

Certainly with 10 million a day they would be accepted as a Premium Publisher, No?

Is it possible they are getting special consideration due to their size even though they aren't in the Premium program?

Easy now, no need to get all riled up

It's not our decision whether a person can be banned from G or not. It's just a fact sometimes, that Google may allow a user to be more lenient when they are a big source of income, or draw high #'s.

No one is approving what the site is doing, just stating how not much can be done.

I am extremely doubtful that anyone is getting permission from both Yahoo and Google to run both on the same page, regardless of size.

Size isn't the only factor taken into account for premium publishers, but page views is the threshold for being able to apply. And perhaps they have never applied before.

All I see are Yahoo ads... No, there are no google ads on the right.. Those look like CJ or some other affiliate system... Anyway, I do not see any adsense on the same page with yahoo... Maybe I am missing something here?

Ok, I see it in the source.. I just do not see it showing up on the page...
