Migrated my site into the sandbox?

Hello, discovered this site via Google BB and am very impressed with the quality and insight of the members. I'm not much of an addition, but would be quite gratefuul for any help.

I had a niche business (voice over) website (http://www.dcdouglas.com) that was (is) a PR4 with 1500 IBL. I ranked 1-3 on my keywords. But, I needed to separate it from my acting site. So, I started http://www.MyVoiceOverGuy.com - thought it was wise to incorporate a keyword! Well, it sees my growing/switching over IBLs, indexed my pages, but PR is 0 and I don't show up for 90% of my keywords. My most important are "voice over talent".

Now, I have avoided using any black hat stuff, though I think I may have experimented with some unwittingly (novice SEO/designer). -- man, I'm long-winded.

QUESTION: Have I been started off in the sandbox? Does my website have something obviously erroneous to anyone's eyes? Do I just have to wait 6 months and $2000 later with Adwords?

    Any and all help/advice/criticisms appreciated.

    Thanks!

    DC

p.s. sorry my links aren't alive, I need to post 10 times!

I'm sure it wasn't anything you did, just that pretty much everyone starts off in the sandbox.

    Inbound Links.

I tend to agree that it's probably not anything you did specifically, but google seems to have a preference to age sites.

Google not only looking for the age of your site.. age of your inbound links is also important.
