    do you think it is better to have a vertical adv. in the sidebar instead of an half banner after each blog article ?

    i can't see both because google doesn't allow too much ads to show on the same page.
    So maybe i have to remove the half banners and let the vertical adv to successfully show ?

    Maybe add some more colors....seems very bland. I like the content, but I would definitely add some ads to the sidebar

    PS;

    rep added for trying

    I believe it isn't your blog but the theme you are using..

    you should try something with more interactive columns...

    It can take some time to adjust to a new theme.. but it would definately help your blog out a lot

    look at http://blogdesignsolutions.com/ they made the wordpress Xmark theme...

    I like that layout a lot... it has good information in every part of the page.. and you can use info and/or ads

    as far as ad placement i think you could do tons better with a better theme..

    note: im not saying use that xmark theme.. just saying the columns make the site full of useful data

    I just browsed your blog. When I opened up I became fascinated reading some of your articles. The content drew my attention. Thanks for that. When I was done, I closed your blog and came back to this thread. I realized I forgot to evaluate your ad placements. In fact I didn't even recall seeing your ads. So I reopended up your site. I think you need to put your ads in more noticeable places.

    When I open up the page, I do not see any ads. I have to scroll down in order to get to the ads. Put some ads at the top. Ads towards the top of the page tend to perform better. I also might try some square ads in the blog posts instead of horizontal banners separating the posts. Also, get a link unit in there somewhere.

    Google's heatmap might help you some for ideas... https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=17954

    Firs of remove the ads from the front page. You should only display ads in content pages when they are accesed. Ads on the frontpage make it look spammy.
    Remove the skyscraper and half unit ads.
    Now ad a Large Rectangle (336 x 280) above the fold, floated left, with the text of the articles wrapping around it. This performs best in most cases. Use red text for the title of ads and black for text and url.
    Again very important, make the title of the ad-units RED and the rest black.
    Over the fold, floated left Large Rectangle is best!!

    if you use a heatmap crazyegg.com has the nicest one ive used so far.. i used analytics for tracking users.. but i find their overlay options a bit lacking

    In my opinion, the high quantity and size of the images in your posts distracts the attention of the ads on the right side. When i first visited your blog, i did not see the ads but lots of large colorful images and i did focus on the left side without even having a look to the right.

    btw: interesting blog!

    placement is good but moving your ads near your main content will give you better results. dont use the ads rigth side of your main menu

    Try adding one link unit as well alongwith your other ad units. Link units give you good results. Try for a month and see.

    Hope it helps.

    this has been a good advice,
    as soon i moved my ADS from the right & central sidebar near the post's title i had an increase of clicks

    would also try the link ADS but i noticed that my font size is too different from link ads;
    maybe next time i update my CSS i will keep this problem in mind
