    Hey,

Seriously, if you aren't using Joint Venture Partners to Blow up and make tons of money for your business, you need to step of out your shell and take a look at yourself.

Joint Ventures are SOOOOO powerful, they build buyer lists, subscriber lists, and sales.

Obviously the hard thing is getting them, so in this thread let's discuss some techniques to getting Joint Ventures.

I'll make my first tip here:

Don't Always Look for Returns, Give, Give, Give, and Traffic will come

When I first started online a while ago, I got what I needed by using resources that I had, its one of the many rules of being an entrepreneur. Every website owner needs something done for them. For instance, one of my students was starting a blog, and he wrote 10 articles in relations to another blog that was receiving heavy traffic. He sent all 10 articles to the blog owner and told him he can use them if he likes, he didn't even ask for a link back, just gave some valuable information to him to build realtionships. A week later that blog owner featured his article and linked back to his site. That one little extra mile gives my student 100 views per day now.

Don't always look for returns, do favors for webmasters and build relationships. For instance, about two years ago I had a forum open, it was about Music, this one member was constnatly emailing me with links to spam pages, I didn't have any moderators yet. So , I made him a moderator, not beacuse he asked, but because out of the goodness he was emailing me the problems in the forum. A few weeks later he showed me a site of his, and guess what. We Joint Ventured and I let him promote to the forum. We both made $4,000 that week.

Do favors, Do good deeds, and the goods will come back 10 times fold.

I totally agree with you on that. So many people start out wanting or even expecting help and give nothing in return. My philosophy is that you can help yourself at lot more by helping others to succeed. Using leverage you can then benefit from their efforts, simply because you gave them some time and effort without expecting anything back, they're more likely to help you later. (At least that's the theory).

So where is the best place to find joint venture or partners? I am a writer (ten published books), most of my writing is in tax, accounting and/or CPA journals although right now I have a "real job" writing for for a medical doctor (MD). I would love to get a blog going that actually made a few shekels, but have trouble finding time to do all the publicity. Also, there are so many things you can do it seems like a bottomless pit for time, although I do work on it quite a bit. Anyway, I would love to find someone to joint venture with who is interested in some of the same topics I am, who knows how to drive traffic and wants quality content. If anyone has ideas on this, I'm listening. Thanks.

I would suggest posting on the Buy, Sell, Trade Threads under the Business category of this website.
