Is Adsense Dead?

I've noticed that my cost-per-click has gone down over the past few months, and I need to almost double my traffic in order to just MAINTAIN my current earnings.

Who else is having this problem?

 

No way, today I just got 2 two dollar clicks

 

My clicks are ranging 0.3 - 1 But my problem is traffic, it's just 150 - 200 unique everyday. I just stepped into online venture 3 weeks ago and my site is still PR0. No matter what I do I can't get past the barrier of 300 visitors during this 3 weeks. Any ideas ?

 

I think you should change the contents of you website. add some really high price words in your site and your earnings will be doubled.

Sounds like smart pricing. If the clicks generated from your site are not converting well then you can get smart priced.

 

how do you know this? i cant know the price of a click :-s

4 clicks for 7 cents. Im certainly not impressed

 

I have a same problem as my CPCs are decreasing from time to time, and already reach the lowest point (almost $0.01 per-click), I don't know where it will lead me to, maybe you're right adsense is dead (for many publishers), but not for me. Now I try to increase my traffic and do some keyword research to gain higher CPC.

Amount on clicks is variable i get 40 clicks a day some days i get more amount on same clicks and some times very less! its realy variable! so try to increase Traffic not clicks.....

 

Well, my point is that with the EXACT same keywords, this time last yer the CPC probably would have been much higher as opposed to now.

For example, the CPC for the keyword last year might have been $0.5 per click, but this year, it has decreased to only $0.2 per click (by the way, I'm only making this up)

 

Too many publishers. Quantity crushes quality.

But, overall the earning through adsense is not as great as it used to be earlier. May be thats just me again ..

The revenue vary according to the niche...thats a known factor. Anyway...You must to invest out to bring traffic, and one of the keys is good unique content.

 

I'm not doing as well as I was off Adsense. Getting 3 - 5 cent clicks to clicks worth a couple of dollars, but my traffic has dropped since February and as a result, so has my Adsense earnings.
