Just a little success story using the network

    Hey Guys,

I just checked on a little test I had been running for a term I am only playing with for fun. I have been tackling "photography blog". Nothing that difficult, not a ton of traffic, but when you are moving 2-3 spaces in the top 5, passing up long time established sites (2-4 years), and completing with the sites that use the keyphrase in the domain, its can require a little work. Well I have had the network up for 2 weeks, and managed to go up two places in the top 5, and establish about 40 links to the site. If I got number one that might piss off some people in the top slot. haha.

So cheers to Shawn, and the fun I have had. Thanks!

    Ben

I believe he means that his move up the ladder is attributable to the network.

Yes, the network was basically the test. I monitored links heavily, even down to times that google picked up other links. The link network just attributed to the move in rank in Google, how much I would not know. It was for fun, easy, and as a test for other sites. Its not over, as its been only several weeks. Months will definately add more to the effectiveness of the network. :D

Yeah the traffic looks minimal but there are over 2 million results for that phrase and you don't even have your internal linking setup for that phrase.

    thanks for sharing.

Regarding the weight I was given, it was rather very low, from what I have seen. 1740 I think it what I started with. Being a blog however, new pages get added regularly so the number is rising, and hopefully I can refer a few people along the way.
