Banned from Co-op

    Hey,

I was previously banned for having an adult website (see thread) but I believe I do have some quality websites to add to the network.

    PR5+, quite a few PR4 including "Results 1 - 10 of about 1,240,000 from www.w3dictionary.com for . (0.05 seconds) "

I apologized profusely, and wish I never tried to test the adult market waters, but I did and I can't change that. However, I am still waiting and hoping maybe one day my accounts (or some at least) might be re-enabled. Again, I'm truely sorry and I have not ventured into any adult sites since this (well, nothing truely adult)!

Guys, please accept my apologies. I love this place and the tools it offers.

    Thanks for listening,
    Scott. :)

Well, I have no doubt you wouldn't try it again (no one could possibly be that stupid), so it's not about that. But such a huge lack of judgement on your part does not particularly instill a huge feeling of trust with you.

The whole reason your ad was brought to my attention was because family oriented sites in the ad network dropped out of the ad network because of your ad. So because of your stunt, we lost a few sites.

The whole "bait and switch" tactic for getting blatantly (hardcore porn in this case) non-compliant sites/ads approved was a really, REALLY terrible idea.

I know, I know, and for that I'm sorry. Honestly, I didn't plan it - it didn't mean to turn out that way, but we both know it did. (long story short- I purchased the images and simply uploaded them w/o really checking them over.) Nevertheless, I completely admit to it and I'm not trying to shift the blame.

I apologize to everyone at DP (specifically Shawn and his crew, and the guys who left over this), but no matter how much I want to, I can't turn back time. (if only.)

Again, thanks for listening. Tired as I may be, this post may not make complete sense, so forgive me for that. :)

Being "honest" after you get caught being dishonest doesn't make up for the fact that you could have caused irrepairable damage to members reputations for your own selfish gain. Not cool. Your loss.

how close to the line (past the line rather) was your adult site? If your whinging cause you've been booted for having hardcore pics on your site, or something like that, you've got issues...

My only reservation is if allowed back in it shows others that even if they get caught doing that, as long as they apologize they can get back in.

It *might* make people think its worth the risk

With an all out ban it keeps people from even trying it.

    Just another viewpoint ;)

They wern't hardcore (in my opinion). It was her on her own with the occasional nude image. I bought the set of images off eBay (it was mths ago therefore the auction has expired/been archived), and since they did not offer international shipping, I had it sent to a friend. He uploaded the images for me, and I left it be. (I was busy with other projects at the time).

Aww, but yfs1: He didn't even know those pictures he uploaded had a woman taking a cock in the mouth and one up the rectum.

He just really didn't check them over properly. :p

What was the site that got him booted, anyway? Just curious.

I've got nothing against porn but I would be horrified if a filthy link turned up at the bottom of my page...imagine someone running a children's site and a child accidently arriving to some hard core porn site...

Makes the coop site and DP look very bad - and in my opinion is the ban should be permanent.

That was the whole purpose in buying it. The site was about a model, so I bought some images and setup one of those "on the fly" image galleries.

I know you made the effort with "rectum" but in case you hadn't noticed, Pete, everyone makes an effort not to use foul language.

Who gives a fuck what language I use? There's not little kids running around here - we're all adults.

So I swear sometimes. Whoop de fucking do, I'm sure you do, too. Christ, you're from Scotland I imagine every sentence of yours in real life is peppered with swear words!

That's 2 people who've mentioned me swearing on here - who wouldn't of in real life, they would of minded their own fucking business, wouldn't they?

Rectum is hardly a swear word, it's an alternative I used instead of arse, because I'm British and a lot are American on here. I was trying to be international, and rectum sounds funnier then arse, anyway.

I swear. So what. Why make an effort to /not/ swear, if you do anyway? Why bother. Anyone who'se offended by swear words and are over 18 is just a muppet. It's not like I swear O.T.T. Only where appropriate. I don't sit here filtering my language or words, I just type. I just type as I think it and send my thoughts as honest as I can. If there's something wrong with that I need to be pulled up on it - someone fucking better ban me and I'll go elsewhere eh. Jesus.

Well, up until that post. You didn't use foul language. "Cock" is not a cuss word. It's a rooster ;).

I second that! I have actually read quite a few of his posts...red is VERY appropriate.
    Indeed!

Anyways, I recently also screwed up and got banned for running LV and DP together. It was not intentional and, thank godness, I was forgiven and given a second chance. I am glad to see that DP admin actually deals with this individually...I was lucky to get reinstated, thanks. In this case I agree, there is no way this was accidental and the OP isn't trying to hide that. However this kind of screw up can have a devistating effect on others, as VS stated. For this reason alone it's tough to find forgiveness, IMO.

    Good Luck

    False assumption.

I personally don't take offense of your crap language but remember this, participating in a forum like DP can be very lucrative in terms of business network. By associating with the people I met here I can pretty much deploy any ad campaign I want as fast as I want. And that's just one of the benefits. But, by acting like the muppet you present yourself as, with your bad language, you're being looked down on by many of us. You probably don't give a s*** but I thought you might want to consider your options.

And it does look very bad IMO.

    Back on topic...

No soup for you! ever. If you dont have total control and review of your sites, there will be no trust in your web real estate.

You are sorry you got kick out of the coop, not for the offense. This is the feeling I get from your posts. My favorite saying "I didn't say it is yourself, we're just going to blame you"
