For your blue ad unit on top, make the border and background white, and link color blue, text color black for better blending. Same applies to your other ad unit in your content area.

Well, to begin with, I'd use an adsense ready theme.

The blue unit at the upper right blends into the site. It doesn't stand out. I'd place a 300x250 in the upper left where you have the Featured Members section. The upper left is a sweet spot according to G's heat maps and my own experience.

I'd also be using an ad-link at the top. Many webmasters disregard the ad-links, but they get clicked on quite a bit. I believe it's because they resemble nav links.

And another thing that might be harming you is the content of the site. Let's face it, people who visit your site probably are not interested in a lot of the ads that are showing up.

it is better to blend the background and border of your ads with your own background...

placement is good for me in the main page...less is always more...:D

A lot of good suggestions here. I think the main thing you need to do is put your adsense unit at upper left and get rid of the blue. Those two things will make a huge difference.

make sure your ads are above the fold - and make sure the background for the ads matches the background of the main page itself. Make the links color in the ad match link colors for other links on your blog.
