I am considering to hire a few editors to help me out here and there. Do you have other editors on your directory?

If so, what kind of pay are they getting?

Now, here is a better question. Do you have paid editors on your free directory?

I think depends how much time he/she is going to put in approving/reviewing sites. (Review criteria can be different for everyone)

    Thats a tricky one. ;)
If you feel you don't have enough time for the free directory and also you are not getting any benefit from it, its time to change the strategy. Go for something different. (Either make it paid with a small fee or move to a new site)

Wow, I need a new employer. I edit for my husbands directory. He pays me nothing. I do his submissions to other directories too. I'm not paid for that either, plus I use my own paypal account to make payments.

Anyone need an experienced editor? :D

The reason I restated my question to free directories is because for paid ones, you can charge $50 per submission and pay $2 to the editor to approve them. That's very reasonable.

Now, if you have a free directory and you pay $2 per approval, how many approvals do your editors make to still leave money in your pocket?

On a free one I did 5 cents per review, so like 2k submissions at 5 cents per isnt bad. Now for paid $2 per. my editor is satisfied.
