lol they can't identify if one is using Timestop or other cracks. No matter how hard microsoft tries windows always gets cracked. There is no fool proof way they can apply. I'm using a non genuine version for about 2 months now with no problems.

Its good for them to look after their product. Windows piracy is rampant.

I believe CDRWIN was set to burn coaster CD's every now and then if the software was pirated.

Heh, I guess the 'Non genuine' state must be so much faster :)

Microsoft will eventually price themselves out of the market (It is my humble opinion). It is just like shoplifting. We the end users have to pay for it.

I think one day Microsoft will wake up to find that google has everything they offer but free, with better security and rolling upgrades (web app).

Did you knwo Microsoft makes over $1 Billion a month off of MsOffice sales, wow. Imagine if they lost that aka google.

Microsoft is really low. It's not only about the 'Microsoft Genuine' thing. Did you know that they're giving money to poor people when you use Live messenger?

I think it's just low for them to use the poor to advertise their services.
